Our School

Message from the CEO

Welcome to the Broad River College and Career Academy. As Chief Executive Officer, I am honored to be a part of this wonderful educational initiative and to have the opportunity to serve the students, faculty, and community in this capacity.

In September 2014, we opened the doors of the Broad River College and Career Academy to the students and faculty of Madison County High School. While we are excited about the opening of the college and career academy, we look forward to the future opportunities that this venture will provide for students in our region. Through our partnerships with community members, representatives of business and industry, Athens Technical College, Madison County School District, Clarke County School District, and Elbert County School District, we hope to provide our students with the skills and support necessary to give them a good start on their way to a rewarding career.

At the Broad River College and Career Academy, we stress that all students are career-bound and all students will need some sort of training beyond high school to be able to compete in the job market. This training could include on-the-job training, military training, a certification, an associate degree, a bachelor’s degree, or beyond.  It is our goal to assist our students as much as possible as they choose a career pathway and map out the best route to achieve their career objective.

I would like to thank our community and partners for all the assistance that they have provided to make the Broad River College and Career Academy possible.  With your ongoing support, we will strive to provide our students with the very best programs and opportunities that positively impact their lives and the region as a whole.

Sincerely,

Bo Boykin
