The Transportation Department of Madison County School District provides school bus transportation for more than 4,700 students enrolled in District schools.  Bus transportation of these students operates in compliance with policies and procedures established by State of Georgia Department of Education and the local Madison County Board of Education.

Madison County School District maintains and operates approximately 81 buses with 62 routes, and covers more than 4,200 miles each day.  Bus drivers pickup from and deliver to homes of elementary, middle school, high school, and special needs students each morning and afternoon.
