The After School Program, sponsored by all elementary schools in the Madison County School System, is designed to provide adult supervision (in a group setting) to students at an affordable price for parents who are unable to pick their child(ren) up from school at dismissal time or to be at home when the bus arrives. The fee structure is designed to keep students safe. The After School Program is a non-profit program funded by parent-paid tuition. The School System does not provide funding for this program.
The After School Program (ASP) includes activities such as snack time, homework time, and free play. ASP is open to all students enrolled in Pre-K through fifth grades (ages 4-12).

Program Fees
The After School Program is a non-profit program funded by parent-paid tuition. The School System does not provide funding for this program. ASP fees are set to cover the cost of a safe program at the most affordable price possible. The fee structure is designed to keep students safe.
$10.00 registration fee per child
$10.00 per day, per child (regardless of amount of time in the program). Fees are due at the beginning of each week. Outstanding balances will result in students being withdrawn from the program until the balance is up to date. (Early Release Days will be $10.00 per day, per child)
We are no longer accepting CAPS students.
The registration fee MUST be paid and the application filled out before the student is allowed to stay. Applications may be obtained from the front office.
Enrolled- Early Learning Center Students (Pre-K)
If your child attends the Early Learning Center and has siblings attending one of our elementary schools in the district, your child may register/attend the After School Program at their home school. Transportation is provided from the Early Learning Center to the homeschool each day. If your only child attends the Early Learning Center, they will have the option of registering for the Danielsville Elementary After School Program or the After School Program for which your child is zoned to attend.
Schedule of Activities
Students will receive a nutritious snack each day before starting on their homework. Instructors work with students to help with the completion of daily assignments, assigned homework, and other projects. The ASP is not designed as an academic enrichment or tutorial time. Limited homework support is provided.
Eligible students with disabilities who enroll in the After School Program will be provided reasonable accommodations and/or modifications in order to afford them meaningful access to the program. Accommodations are considered reasonable where the provision of them would not result in a fundamental alteration of the program or the services offered by the program or create an undue financial or administrative burden. The After School Program does not provide educational services to students and is not intended to be an educational program.
