The MCMS Faculty, Staff, & Students have begun decorating the halls with Christmas Spirit!!! Come and walk through all the magical lights and colors and themes!!! There will be caroling, cocoa, and more!! Be sure to get your picture taken with Santa!!! Based on feedback from a community-wide survey, calendar options were created for review by School Governance Teams. Governance Teams have narrowed the options down to two. Feedback from the community-wide vote will be utilized to make a recommendation to the Madison County Board of Education for final approval of the school calendar. Winter MAP Testing is upon us... December 3rd - 5th. Science & S.Studies Benchmarks will be given during class time between December 12th - December 18th. Dates vary by grade level.

This is open to MCMS Faculty, Staff, Homerooms, Clubs, Athletic Teams, and Individual Students!!! 🎃 Please... only one entry per person, club, or team. If you will get a pumpkin (real or fake) and decorate it with WHATEVER you want... be as fancy, flashy, and festive as you can!!!! You have until Monday, October 28th to get them done. 🎃 They must be completed on your own time... if you are planning to enter one as a team, club, or homeroom... you are more than welcome to use THOSE times to work on them. 🎃🎃🎃 It must be an original design... meaning no going to the store and purchasing a pre-decorated one!!! 🎃🎃🎃 We will have a "LIVE" judging on Monday, October 28th. Students will vote on the best entries. DEPENDING ON HOW MANY ENTRIES WE HAVE will determine how many will be in the final judging round for our special judges to choose 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places. 🎃🎃🎃 WINNERS WILL BE ANNOUNCED ON HALLOWEEN, October 31st. We will also have superlatives...something like... most creative, most scary, most kind, etc.... types of superlatives will also be determined based on the entries!!!
